Welcome to HJMC
Henrietta Johnson Medical Center (HJMC), a Federally Qualified Health Center with sites located in both Wilmington and Claymont Delaware, provides an all-inclusive range of Medical and Dental services for the entire family. HJMC offers caring, quality healthcare for Women, Children, Adolescents, Adults and Seniors. HJMC participates with most major insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare, but we understand that some of our patients do not have current healthcare insurance. Patients in need of health care will never be turned away here at Henrietta Johnson Medical Center; we offer a sliding fee scale to patients without health insurance based on the patient’s income and family size. Community Health Centers like HJMC has been recognized as a cost-effective and necessary alternative to emergency room-based primary healthcare services. We are here to serve our community and ensure better health for our patients regardless of their ability to pay. HJMC receives Health and human Services (HHS) funding and has Federal Public Health Service (FPHS) status. HJMC sites are deemed Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) facilities.

COVID-19 UPDATE
Henrietta Johnson is committed to limiting the spread of the Coronavirus in our community. To keep all patients, families, visitors and staff safe, everyone who comes to HJMC is being asked about their recent travel and you may be asked to wear a face mask while on the premises. This is especially important because CDC guidelines now list multiple countries and states as areas of concern for potential COVID-19 patients.
If you are feeling unwell, been a crowd of 10 or more people, have flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), or have traveled out of the state in the past 48 hours, please call HJMC to speak with a nurse prior to your appointment.

NEW - Your In-House Pharmacy Services are Here!
Henrietta Johnson Medical Center has launched its own Pharmacy Services to make it more convenient for patients to access medications. Our in-house Pharmacy Services ensure that wait time is shorter, medications are available at the lowest possible cost, and that every patient’s treatment plan is personalized. Pharmacy Services are being offered to HJMC patients in an effort to better meet their needs. More information coming soon. |
